Reviews:
* The Dart's youthful styling, spacious and accommodating interior, sporty character, innovative class-above technology, and top safety ratings make this compact Dodge sedan an attractive (if frequently overlooked) choice in an extremely competitive segment. Source: KBB.com
* Spacious cabin; excellent optional electronics interface; energetic acceleration with the 2.4-liter engine; top safety scores. Source: Edmunds
* The 2014 Dodge Dart boasts a performance-inspired exterior design. Clean lines from nose to tail form its curvaceous silhouette. The unmistakable split crosshair grille, low and wide stance, and the available full-width racetrack style LED taillamps make an aggressive statement. The interior boasts an incredibly appealing layout that is ergonomic and easy to use, without dampening any of its sporty appeal. Plus for 2014, the front bucket seats offer more comfort. The Dart is available in SE, SXT, AERO, GT, and Limited trims. The Base SE comes standard with a 2.0-Liter, 160-Horsepower 4-cylinder engine. The Dart's 2.4-Liter, 4-Cylinder, 184 Horsepower Tigershark engine can be found on the GT, and new for 2014, it is also standard on the SXT and the Limited. The third engine option can be found in the AERO, which is a 1.4-Liter, 160 Horsepower, Multi-Air Turbo Engine. In terms of gas mileage, the best performer is the AERO paired with the automatic transmission that gets an EPA estimated 28 MPG City and 41 MPG Highway. The SE, SXT, AERO and GT all come standard with a 6-speed manual. With the SE, SXT, and GT, you have the option of two available transmissions: a 6-Speed Automatic with AutoStick or a 6-Speed Powertech Automatic. The AERO also offers the available 6-Speed Automatic with AutoStick, but as an option you can get a 6-Speed Dual Dry Clutch Automatic instead. The Limited gives you the choice of the 6-Speed Automatic with AutoStick or the 6-Speed Powertech Automatic. The base SE comes with an AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio system with audio jack and 4 speakers, plus power windows, power steering, and air conditioning. Plus, dependent on which higher level trim you investigate, feature possibilities include: Navigation, dual zone temperature control, interior ambient lighting, and a power 6-way driver seat. For safety, standard features include 10 airbags, 4-Wheel Anti-Lock Disc Power Brakes, electronic stability control, electronic roll-mitigation and more. Source: The Manufacturer Summary

  • Awesome car!

Traded in my SE model for one with the option package and a couple years newer. Loved the Dart but I wanted a few more features. SE model with the option package is the way to go. Better gas mileage and still plenty of pick up (though for sure not the best). Absolutely get the manual transmission. Fun and slick to drive, hugs curves well (important in western PA) and less weird design choices from earlier model SEs (2013 had weird gas cap lock, and trunk only opened from inside car, no keyhole or button on key). None of that on newer models. 40000 miles in, no complaints.

I have this car for only 3 months with me driving on a limited bases because I travel a lot. I have had nothing but maintenance issues with this car. Transmission and clutch solely and I have had it repaired at the dealership and the local shops. Its not a reliable car in my opinion and I have found other websites that a lot of people have had the same issues.

Poor resale value, car stickered for 25000 new can only get 9000 for trade, would not recommend unless you plan to keep.
